Educating about legality and the use of technology through research: Sociography returns to school

The Sociography team returns to school, this time at the Liceo Quadri in Vicenza, which, as part of the PNRR plan "STEM and multilingual skills in public schools" (D.M. 65/2023), has launched the "Quadri STEM" laboratories, including the "Innovation and Technology" program.

The aim of this meeting is to explain to students how criminological research contributes to the international fight against drug and firearms trafficking, especially in the digital context. The scientific method, social research tools, and the rapid evolution of phenomena will be some of the topics explored in a hands-on workshop format. The tools developed by the Foundation as part of its activities will be presented, as well as the advanced technologies from important European projects such as H2020 DANTE, ANITA, and ARIEN, in which the team has worked and is still working.

Sharing the commitment, multidisciplinary collaboration, the need for advanced skills, and the importance of ethics in one's work are tools of information and education in which the Foundation strongly believes to promote education on legality and prevention.
